Users enter their desired retirement age, income and planned retirement expense information, plan end date and current allocation percentages of stocks, bonds and cash (to determine the user's risk tolerance). The tool then runs multiple simulations based on the information provided to determine if their assets are likely to cover their expenses over the life of the plan, during average and poor market conditions.
